This week we have a new build from Mikael Baillarge in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In his own words “I couldn’t be happier with how she rows and am in the process of fitting her with sails.” He sent us beautiful photos which you can see here. There are so many possible directions to take in building and outfitting one of Sam’s designs. In this case, Mikael shows a wonderful sense of color as you can see from the beautiful green and yellow combination. An added touch are his home built oars with wooden peg oarlocks lashed to the oar leathers and the stripped paddle part of the oars. Guppy information, plans, kits here.
